I’m at target and I overhead a guy and a girl talking and the guy said in a completely serious tone “I wish I lived in the time period where women’s consent wasn’t necessary in sex, like those guys were so lucky” and the girl replied with “haha truuuue”. No…not true, what the fuck is wrong with you

Aw why are you lonely????

This is going to sound so piteous so I’m sorry. But my best friends are all in relationships that seem like long-term deals and their first priorities are their boyfriends (which is what happens in relationships I totally get that). But I just haven’t gotten used to being their second, being surrounded by really fucking cute couples, and being alone (comparatively). It’s just a little different than what I’ve been used to and sorta difficult but I’ll get used to it! This is so selfish sounding but I’m trying really hard to answer your question and explain how I feel lol

Jellyfish Lake in Palau. Apparently the jellies have lost their ability to sting because of lack of predators in the lake and you can swim with them!

BUCKET LIST.

WAIT BUT THAT’S NOT EVEN THE COOLEST PART: These jellyfish carry small populations of algae inside their bodies and derive much of their nutrition from the sugars that the algae produce. The jellyfish follow the sun across the lake each day and rotate continuously, so that the algae are always getting maximum sunlight exposure for photosynthesis. Then at night they dive to deeper parts of the lake so the algae can absorb nitrogen. It’s one of the best examples of endosymbiosis in action and it’s KICKASS.

Went to some lake the other day, and took these pics with my phone. It was a lovely day; not to hot, not too cold, and pleasantly cloudy. The water was pretty warm too ~

After hiking for twelve hours out of a nineteen hour trek, it was time to watch the sunrise at Dinosaur Ridge. When we first looked out, the mountains were completely covered by clouds, but within an hour the clouds dropped and this was what we saw. It felt like heaven, and you could hear everyone present for this moment screaming and shouting for joy! I’d never seen something so incredible, I had to meditate and have gratitude to have experienced this. Some locals said that they’d never seen the mountains like this, even in their 40+ years of hiking there. (© Ka Ram Shim/National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest)
